Abstract

Education in Montenegro in recent years has undergone great changes. Those changes are reflected in the reformed nine years of elementary school. the general high school. division of the nine-year school into 3 cycles. electives. etc. Students. through elective courses. are given the possibility of the increased volume of hours attending classes in the field of physical education. which has been the goal of experts in this field. Now it's up to teachers and other stakeholders in this industry to constantly monitor. analyze. discuss and conclude which effects such organized classes create. In addition to evaluating school reform. the goal of this study was to examine the relationship of students of the older school age towards the election of “Sport for athletes”. Therefore. due to research of the relationship of the students towards this course the instrument for measuring the same relationship was created. It turned out that there are several important factors that indicate the relationship and satisfaction of students with selected course. which represents an important feedback to teachers who implement the program into practice in order to improve the quality of teaching and addressing students on the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.
