Abstract

Sport as an integral part of physical culture, has found its place in the educational process. This is particularly manifested through activities of physical and health education i.e. school sport. The main objective of this study was to determine differences in preferences towards sports activities for elementary school students. The sample of respondents was 239 male students in 1st and 2nd Elementary School in Živinice, 10 to 14 years old. In order to determine preferences towards sport activities questionnaire was conducted. Kruskal Wallis Test was also applied. Obtained results indicate there are differences and they are influenced by additional extracurricular activities performed in these schools
