REDUKCIJA TJELESNE MASE EVAPORACIJOM I NJENE POSLEDICE NA BRZINU IZVODJENJA U KARATE SPORTU

Abstract

It is known that good level of hydration is key to sucess in sport. In sports where activities are organized in groups according to weight categories, there are many examples of quick weight reduction. One of ways for reduction of body weight is by sweating( evaporation) and by various diuretics. The core of this, second procedure is quickened by urination, followed by dehydration and reduction of body weight. This quickened body weight reduction iy harmful to sportsman’s organism, because he, for a short time, loses much of healthy liquid and necessary electrolits. After a particular loss of the liquid, organism start to employ its defence mechanisms aiming to save itself from exaggerate dehydration. When the ballance of water and electrolits is deranged, muscles lessen its contraction abillities. When the loss is too big , then ensue total interraption of body functions and a death is possible. Durin experiment many persons are inspected in states of eu-hydration and dehydration
