Sport Mont 2007, V(12-13-14), 539-543

Abstract

It is generally known that a footballer must have a certain developmental level of the physical abilities so he could more easily move in the fi eld. During a game, footballers actively possess the ball for about 60-65 minutes, and at the average they run over 6-30km of different sections with speeding up or without it, where around 3km drops off on the fast running and shorter sprints that is on the work of maximum and sub maximum intensity. If we have the series and activities in the different intervals then the break can last about 8-10 minutes of the slow running. If the break between series of the intensive changeable activities would last around 1-2minutes then the body of the footballer would start each series in the conditions of the incomplete “paying off” oxygen dept that is the incomplete resynthesis of the used energy sources: creatin-phosphate and glycogen. The success of task solving given to the trainer among other things, depend a lot on the knowing the problems in the athletic short, middle and long-distance running.
